Manpreet's Date Cake Eggless

Ingredients

• Maida 2 cups, sugar ground 1 cup, refined oil 3/4 cup, soda 1tsp, hot milk 1 cup, seedless dates 12 to 13 pieces

Instructions

1. Sieve maida and soda two times. Cook the dates in milk till they become a little soft. Boil 5 minutes on slow fire. Cool add sugar to it and soda and maida and oil alternately. Add everything. If a little thick add milk. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
2. Make a syrup with burnt sugar 2 tbsp and 1/2 cup water. Add in the batter. Add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts in it.
3. Serve separately with thick custard
